WINE BLOGGERS: Join us on the Road to Walla Walla!
There's plenty of time left to qualify! The WBC-or-BUST campaign concludes in three months at the end of April (two months prior to the WBC) with the anouncement of our 12 winning bloggers. Two winners will be chosen for posting the most Washington wine related blog entries (minimum of 150 words required for each post). Six additional winners will be chosen for the best category based postings:
- Top 2 Best Washington winery posts
- Top 2 Best Washington wine/tasting post
- Best Washington growing region post
- Best Washington vineyard post
The final four winners will be selected at random out of all qualifying participants. There's still plenty of time to qualify and earn your seat to Walla Walla. {more contest info}
WBC-or-BUST ~ Road Trip Itinerary
The two day WBC-or-BUST road trip & wine tour is shaping up to provide participating Bloggers and media guests a truly unique Washington wine experience – leading up to the Wine Bloggers Conference in Walla Walla.

Wed, June 23rd (DAY 1): Seattle & Woodinville Wine Country
Experience some of the best Washington has to offer from one of the premier food & wine destinations in the Northwest. {view itinerary detail}
• Pick Bloggers up in Seattle and head out to Woodinville
• Tour and Food & Wine Pairing at Chateau Ste. Michelle
• Woodinville Grand Tasting at Willows Lodge
• Wine Lunch at Barking Frog Restaurant
• Return to Seattle to refresh the palate at Pike Brewery
• Hotel Check-in and Downtime at Renaissance Hotel
• Seattle Winemaker’s Dinner at Waterfront Seafood Grill
• Return to Renaissance Hotel
Thur, June 24th (DAY 2): Yakima Valley & Walla Walla
Travel across the Cascade Mountain Range to visit Washington's premier growing regions and taste through a selection of preimium wines. {view itinerary detail}
• Leave Seattle for Eastern Washington
• Brunch and Unique AVA Wine Tasting at Cave B Inn
• Depart for Sunnyside, WA
• Lunch at DuBrul Vineyard
• Yakima Grand Tasting at Prosser Wine Village
• Leave Prosser for Walla Walla
• Walla Walla Vintners Pizza & Wine Social
• Bloggers are taken to various Walla Walla B&B’s
*The Yakima Valley portion of our road trip has been coordinated by Wine Yakima Valley and organized in conjunction with the Wine Bloggers Conference and their pre-conference Yakima excursion.
Fri, June 25th (DAY 3): The Wine Bloggers Conference Begins in Walla Walla
Arrive to Walla Walla in style just in time for the WBC with a deeper understanding of Washington and it's thriving wine industry. (additional activities TBA}
Sun, June 27th: Return Trip to Seattle
At the conclusion of the Wine Bloggers Conference we will return all WBC-or-BUST bloggers and participating media guests back to Seattle via our comfortable limo bus. On the way, we will be stopping at Alexandria Nicole Cellars to enjoy a gourmet lunch and some wine in their Prosser tasting room & restaurant.
The return trip will concluded upon returning to Seattle with particpating bloggers being dropped off at the Renaissance hotel downtown.
